Bob and Mark have a combined total of more than 20 years of photographic experience.
Bob's first venture into photography was as a crime scene photographer for the New York City Police Department where he documented some very high profile cases. He than worked as a photojournalist for the NYPD and many of his photographs were published in law enforcement magazines. Wedding & portrait photography was next, and Bob honed his photography skills by working for several different studios. Bob recently cataloged the art work of Armand Assante.
Mark got hooked on photography when he took a photography course his senior year in college. He learned wedding photography at Pro Color in Yonkers,NY than went on to photograph weddings and social events for Bachrach studios in Mahattan.
In between weddings, Mark completed a photo documentary of the building of the America's Cup Yacht the "Freedom" which was victorious over the challenger, "Australia". Mark also worked as a medical photographer at the Bronx and Manhattan VA Hospitals.
Bob and Mark met at a photo assignment (they both cover community events for Bergen Health & Life Magazine)and quickly became friends. After about six months of sharing ideas about photo techniques they formed Elegant Images Photography, and have been photographing Weddings and other events throughout the Hudson Valley.
Bob and Mark are both members of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
